LAHOFER VINTNERS PRODUCE ABOUT HALF MILLION WINE BOTTLES PER YEAR. IN 2012, AFTER EQUIPPING THE PLANT WITH NEW TECHNOLOGIES, THE ANNUAL PRODUCTION CAPACITY WAS INCREASED TO ABOUT 800,000 BOTTLES. OUR VINEYARD AT DOBŠICE PRODUCES WINES FROM VIRTUALLY ALL THE MAIN CENTRAL EUROPEAN VARIETIES. WE MAINLY PLANT GRÜNER VELTLINER- 16%, RHINE RIESLING - 13%, MÜLLER THURGAU - 10%, PINOT BLANC - 6%, SAUVIGNON - 5% AND MORAVIAN MUSCAT - 5%. OF THE BLUE VARIETIES IT IS SAINT LAURENT - 13%, FOLLOWED BY PINOT NOIR AND ZWEIGELTREBE. OUR VINEYARDS ALSO BEAR FRUITS OF OTHER VARIETIES: PINOT GRIS, PÁLAVA, GEWÜRZTRAMINER, NEUBURGER, WELLSCHRIESLING, BLAUFRÄNKISCH OR BLAUER PORTUGIESER.
We offer wines of several "series" - speciality wines are included in the "Unique" series, wines of the appellation system VOC Znojmo are marked with an outstanding label showing this local system focusing on wines from particular vineyard estates. The major series is our Standard Series represented by our well-known black label with a silver logo and red adornments. For hotels and restaurants, we offer wines in Bordeaux bottles with a screw cap. In addition we offer every year about three varieties from imported French ingredients marked on the label with a typical symbol and the name LAHOFER.fr.

Pistol type bottles are filled with premium quality wines from our own vineyards. our well-known black label with a silver metal logo symbolising a filled glass of wine, is the typical emblem of our standard wine series where everybody will find what they like. The znojmo wine region has introduced the first appellation system in the Czech republic, the voc znojmo, for wines with original certification. This has placed the czech republic among successful markets practising aoc (appellation d'origine contrôlée) marketing. More info
The offer of pistol bottles with a traditional cork stopper was expanded in 2012 with a new wine series bottled in bordeaux bottles with a modern screw cap. In the very first year after marketing lahofer sold over fifty thousand bottles. More info
To extend the offer of red wines lahofer began importing ingredients from france in 2011. The wine as a semi-finished product is imported from southern france to the Dobšice plant where it is technologically treated. The french series of lahofer wines has its typical label, showing clearly that the wine comes from grapes grown in France. More info
In 2012 we introduced a bottle with the volume of 0.375 l , atypical by modern standards, filled with pinot gris - trockenbeerenauslese. The exceptional wine ripening on the most favourable slope of the lampelberg wine castle vineyard is distinguished by their intense golden honey colour, golden streaks, sweetish mineral and fruit aroma, with tones of herbs, honey, raisins, fine orange peel and over-ripened pears. Many wine lovers impatiently wait for our first wines of the new harvest around st martin’s day. The responsibility for satisfaction of their expectations lies with our young lahofers. Preparation of the pair of light refreshing wines is joyous and youthful, and every year brings a change to the basic motif. The young lahofers are sold after the first ten days of november and the bottles should be finished within a year at the maximum. More info
In 2013 we introduced production of a special fresh juice series. The first bottled juices were made from apples, but our fresh juice portfolio of course also includes beverages made from grapes. We make them exclusively from what our vineyards produce and their quality is the same as our varietal wines. More info
Although grapevines do not need bees for pollination, our vineyards are still situated in interesting natural localities suitable for bee keeping. just one more step was needed for us to be able to offer our customers a delicious honey from our vineyards - lahomed honey - made in cooperation with experienced apiarists to please you and extend our portfolio.
